How do I add a parent or member of staff?

How to add a member of staff or a parent to Mable.

For GDPR purposes, all members of staff using Mable should have their own log ins, log ins should not be shared between members of staff.

You can add as many members of staff as you like to your school, each person with an account can access the CPD and will get reminder emails about appointments for the children they have profile access to.

When adding a pupil, as long as you add the parents email, they'll be automatically sent an email invitation to register with Mable. This means they'll be able to view their child's notes and will receive the appointment reminders.


To add staff, go to 'School Users' in the left hand menu and then 'Invite User' in the top right. You'll see the following pop up:

Enter the name of the person and their email address in the boxes. You'll then need to choose their role:

- School administrators have access to all pupils at the school. They can see financial information and request credits, as well as having the ability to add other members of staff.

- Session Supervisors can join therapy sessions with children and see their reports. They can also access the Mable Academy. You can set the pupils the person has access to after you click 'send invite'. If you set no pupils, they can just access the Mable Academy for CPD.

- Parents can view reports and receive session reminders about their child but cannot access the Mable Academy or join sessions. Again, you can set the pupil they have access to after clicking 'Send Invite'

Staff or parents who have been added but have not yet accepted their invite will appear in the 'invites' tab. All invites expire after 72 hours. After this time, to re-invite them, just start the process again as a new invite.
