Find Your Computers Audio Settings

This is not for your microphone settings as these can be changed from within Mable, but this guide instead covers the sounds coming from your computer.

Windows

  1. Open the Start menu by clicking the Windows icon in the bottom-left corner of the screen.
  2. Type 'Sound' and open Sound settings or the Sound Control Panel.
  3. In the Playback section, select your headphones or speakers and click Properties.
  4. Open the Levels tab and make sure the output volume is turned up and not muted.

Chrome OS/Chromebook

  1. Click the panel in the bottom-right corner of the screen, where the time, Wi-Fi, and battery icons are displayed. This will open the Quick Settings panel.
  2. Locate the volume slider next to the speaker icon and make sure it is turned up.
Mac/Apple Computer
  1. Open System Settings and select Sound. You can quickly open this by pressing Cmd + Space, typing “Sound”, and pressing Enter.
  2. Select the Output tab or menu.
  3. Choose the headphones or speakers you would like to use.
  4. Under Output Volume, make sure the volume is turned up and not muted.

iPad / Tablet
  1. Use the volume buttons on the side of your device to increase the volume.
  2. Also check that your device is not muted, and that any connected headphones or speakers are securely plugged in or connected via Bluetooth.
